The Gigabit managed switch for installation in more demanding local networks has a wide range of functions to ensure the operation of a secure network by eliminating possible attacks on the lower layers of the OSI model and possible authentication of end devices. End-user connections can be secured with ACL/MAC rules or possible authorization to a RADIUS/TACACS server. Secure management is ensured by encrypted web management or SNMPv3 protocol via IPv4 or newly IPv6 protocol.
