Ubiquiti UniFi AP HD In-Wall
The UniFi HD In-Wall is an AP suitable for wall installation instead of a data socket. Ideal for covering office buildings, hotel rooms, student dormitories with a Wi-Fi signal with throughput of up to 300 Mbps (2.4 GHz) and 1733 Mbps (5 GHz). In the 5 GHz band, it uses 802.11ac Wave2 MU-MIMO 4x4 technology, which enables communication with multiple clients at the same time, this increases the total throughput of the access point several times and the transfer speed on the side of client devices.
UniFi HD In-Wall has integrated 1.8 dBi antennas (2.4 GHz) and 3.4 dBi antennas (5 GHz) as well as 5 Gigabit RJ45 ports.
The input port (rear) is used for power from the POE+ 802.3at switch. Three output ports can be used as standard data ports, the fourth port supports active POE according to the 802.3af standard, thanks to which it is possible to power, for example, a VoIP phone, camera, etc.
UniFi APs are part of the UniFi SDN platform, which enables monitoring and central management of end devices in the network, all clearly in the graphic interface UniFi Network Application. UniFi Network Application is freely available software that provides network monitoring, UniFi device management, statistics display, network topology, account settings and more.
Another recommended management option is the UniFi Cloud Key with pre-installed software and cloud access. UniFi HD In-Wall supports PoE power supply according to the 802.3af/at standard, UniFi switches can be used for power supply.
