Gigabit miniGBIC (SFP) 1000Base-T module, converts the SFP port to a standard metal 1000Mbps RJ-45 port (or 10/100Mbps). Cisco, Dell, Planet compatible. Equivalent to Cisco GLC-T
MiniGBIC is designed for a gigabit network, i.e. both the SFP slot in the switch and the counterpart must be at 1Gbit speed. If the switch supports the serial gigabit media-independent interface (SGMII), the miniGBIC can also operate at a speed of 100 Mbit. Such switches include some Juniper models and most Cisco switches. In Planet, Dahua, Huawei, Dlink, Zyxel, H3C and others, GBIC only works at 1Gbit
