A locator pendant based on Bluetooth technology is a practical aid in finding lost objects. It uses the Find service network, i.e. that it doesn't have to be connected to your Apple device, but hundreds of millions of iPhones, iPads and iPods will help you locate it through the U1 chip and Bluetooth signal. The whole process is anonymous and encrypted, the surrounding device catches the signal and reports the location of your AirTag to iCloud. No one else has access to the location except its owner, however, after turning on the lost device mode, the AirTag can show your contact information to the finder via NFC. With a compatible iPhone (11 and later), you can use the accurate search feature with extremely accurate location. If the AirTag is near you, you can use the Find application to ring it, because it has an integrated speaker. Setup is very simple, one tap to set up the AirTag and connect it to your iPhone or iPod. Then you just name it and attach it to the subject you want to keep track of. A replaceable CR2032 battery will keep the AirTag up and running for over a year. In addition, it fully complies with the IP67 certification and is therefore resistant to dust or water splashes.
