Backup lead battery (12 V, capacity 15 Ah) in VRLA (AGM) design.

It is a construction in which internal pressure is regulated using valves (VRLA - Valve Regulated Lead Acid = valve-controlled lead-acid accumulator).

AGM (Absorbed Glass Mat) technology

Although the battery contains an electrolyte in a liquid state, it is "stuck" in the glass laminate microfibers, or in the so-called glass wool, and is thus firmly bound in the bowels of the battery cells (its leakage is practically precluded) .

AGM traction batteries of CSB series EVX and EVH. These are sealed lead accumulators in the VRLA design. It is a design in which internal pressure is regulated using valves (VRLA - valve regulated lead acid = valve-controlled lead-acid accumulators). AGM (absorbed glass mat) technology, the battery does not contain electrolyte in a liquid state, the electrolyte is absorbed in the glass mat and is thus firmly bound in the interior of the battery cells, preventing its leakage. The extra strong grid of cells ensures high cyclic endurance of the battery. EVX and EVH series CSB batteries can also be used for "stand by" applications, where the batteries are permanently powered and serve as a backup source in the event of a power outage. Especially where outages are frequent and batteries run deep.

Lifetime: approximately 700 cycles / 50% D.o.D

CSB AGM batteries EVX and EVH series, optimal lifetime is given in cycles at a temperature of +20 °C, number of discharge cycles with regular discharge to 50% D.o.D. (Depth of Discharge = depth of discharge, 50% of the energy is taken from the battery) is roughly 700 cycles.
