Active battery balancer (equalizer) HA02 is intended for all types of rechargeable batteries (lead, lithium, VRLA, LFP) with a voltage from 2.4 to 12 V that are connected in series , to maintain the voltage balance between the batteries. One balancer can be connected to up to 4 batteries at the same time. When two or more battery blocks are connected in series, the voltages of the blocks during charging and discharging may be different. Cyclic operation means that the battery voltage is different between individual blocks. One battery has a higher voltage and one battery has a lower voltage. This condition causes permanent damage to the batteries. The battery balancer balances the batteries with each other - balances to a maximum voltage difference of 10 mV between the batteries. This will improve the performance and life of the batteries connected in the battery pack.
The balancer works with high frequencies, therefore it can emit high-frequency sound during operation, so it is not suitable for living spaces

The balancer is a protective element that maintains the voltage balance between the individual batteries in a series connection (battery voltages are added). When two or more battery blocks are connected in series, the voltages of the blocks during charging and discharging may be different. Cyclic operation means that the battery voltage is different between individual blocks. One battery has a higher voltage and one battery has a lower voltage. This condition causes permanent damage to both batteries. The battery balancer voltage equalizes (balances) the voltage difference between two batteries and thereby improves the performance and life of the batteries connected in the battery pack.
Passive balancer: takes current from the higher voltage battery and turns it into heat until the voltage is equal to the lower voltage battery/batteries.
Active Balancer: moves energy from a battery with a higher voltage to a battery / batteries with a lower voltage. The whole process of equalizing the voltage state is therefore more efficient and faster.
