I-TEC Universal 6× 4K Display Docking Station 140 W

The docking station allows you to connect a laptop, tablet or smartphone to other monitors and hardware. It connects to a computer or laptop using a USB-C port with support for Thunderbolt 3/4 and USB4. On supported devices, it is thus able to transmit power up to 140 W in the case of the PD 3.1 protocol or up to 100 W in the case of the PD 3.0\ protocol. It is possible to connect six 4K monitors at 60 Hz to the docking station at the same time. High-speed access to the Internet can be realized through the present RJ-45 port. There are four USB-C and four USB 3.1 ports for connecting peripherals. The docking station can also be installed behind the monitor with VESA support thanks to the VESA bracket (not included), which gives you both maximum work efficiency thanks to the expandability of the ports and a beautifully tidy table without cables. In addition, a microSD and SD card reader is also available. The combined 3.5 mm connector is used to connect headphones or a microphone. You will also be pleased with the slot for a safety lock and the power switch of the docking station for maximum energy saving.

Notes

• Depending on the characteristics of the computer, especially the performance of the CPU, GPU and RAM size of the connected device, when connecting four or more displays with a resolution of 4K or higher, the fluidity of the system may be limited.
• macOS does not support Multi Stream Transport (MST) technology for multiple displays, which means that when connected to macOS, the same image is projected on both monitors connected to the USB-C ports. This means that a maximum of 5 screens are supported on macOS.
• Video transmission via USB-C MFDP ports is only possible if the docking station is connected to laptops with Thunderbolt 3/4, USB4 or USB-C ports (with video transmission support). In case of connection to the USB-A port, only the DP and HDMI ports will be available (i.e. a maximum of 4 monitors) and the connected laptop/tablet will not be able to be charged.
