MikroTik wAP 60G

The wAP 60G is a full-duplex unit in the license-free 60 GHz band at an unbeatable price. Thanks to the band used, the connection is not affected by ambient interference and thus offers a stable and very fast connection. It is suitable for short distances instead of an optical link. Mikrotik introduced a revolutionary unit that will fully replace the gigabit Ethernet connection. Among the greatest advantages is the used 60 GHz band, which guarantees that the unit will not be disturbed by surrounding networks. The unit also offers high security in the form of encryption with an as yet unbroken AES key.

The unit includes RouterOS Mikrotik software with L3\ license. This license is fully sufficient to establish a point-to-point connection. The unit has an integrated PoE splitter, so it can be powered directly via a UTP cable.

Supports the 802.3af/at standard, so the unit can be powered via a UTP cable up to a distance of 100 m. In addition to the PoE splitter, power source and holder, the package also includes a special screw that prevents unauthorized access to the device.
