The smart gateway is used to connect up to fifty Zigbee products. Each connected product is displayed in the Nedis SmartLife app and can be used for automation as if it were directly connected to the Wi-Fi network. The gateway connects directly to the Wi-Fi network, so there is no need for an Ethernet cable. Power is supplied via the included USB cable.
Zigbee is an alternative protocol to Wi-Fi, the main advantage of which is low power consumption. Thanks to this, small wireless sensors can operate for up to several years on a single battery.
