Metropolitan SFP ten-gigabit optical switch designed for applications in the field of large-scale networks, telecommunications and for Internet service providers ISP or IPTV television. Its physical and durable construction predetermines it for direct installation in route or terminal switchboards. The device is operable in the temperature range of -10 to 60 °C, it can be powered redundantly, it has a digital I/O interface and all ports are accessible from the front panel.

Management of the switch is possible through IPv4 and IPv6 protocols, SNMPv3 and securely on the SSL/SSH encrypted layer. The function includes suitable for integration in data centers or for connection and secure operation of end users, it is possible to control traffic based on QoS, filter and authorize access via ACL (Access Control List), physically activate ports based on authentication on a RADIUS server by the IEEE protocol 802.1x.
