PLANET SGS-6341-24P4X
Stackable managed L3 PoE switch, 24x 1000 Base-T, 4x SFP 100/1000 Base-X combo port, 4x 10G Base SFP+, PoE injectors 802.3at up to 370 W. RIP/OSPF, VLAN 802.1Q 255 networks, Q-in-Q, QoS, Shaper, IGMP v1/v2/v3, Security function, IP/MAC ACL, DHCP snooping, 802.1x RADIUS. Web/SNMP v3 management, HW stacking, IP stacking up to 24 SGS-634x units, IPv6 support, rackmount 19" (1U), power supply AC 100-240 V (50/60 Hz).
10Gigabit managed switch working on 3. layer of the OSI model. It is equipped with advanced features for use in wide area networks and backbone connections. Static routing, powerful tools for QoS traffic control and security allow ISPs and network administrators to control and effectively manage data networks, which will include a switch equipped in the role of a central element, for example. The switch is equipped with 24x 10/100/1000 Mbps Gigabit Ethernet ports, 4x SFP ports shared with 100/1000 Mbps metal RJ-45 ports and 4x 10G SFP+ slots, the metal ports provide Power over Ethernet (PoE) with 30 W/ port and a total possible load of up to 370 W. The stacking function makes it possible to expand the capacity of central switches, including the planning of their total throughput, up to 24 switches can be combined into one manageable unit (IP stacking). Operationally, the device is equipped with a powerful architecture with an internal bus throughput of up to 128 Gbps. Functionally it has, for example, "Port link aggregation", "Q-in-Q VLAN", "private VLAN", "Rapid Spanning Tree protocol", "Layer 2 to Layer 4 QoS", "bandwidth control", "IGMP Snooping". Up to 256 VLAN groups can be created and managed. For "trunk" connections, it is possible to create up to 12 groups of 8 ports for each group. The switch has traffic filtering based on IP addresses and other TCP/IP parameters. The device is managed with the help of a web browser or through an SNMP utility with support for the SNMP v2c protocol and encrypted SNMP v3, simultaneous management with IPv4 and IPv6 protocols in the form of DualStack is supported.
IP stacking helps network administrators to configure up to 24 switches in the same series using a single IP address instead of connecting and configuring each unit individually. IP Stacking technology combines a series of SGS-6341 switches to enable centralized management through a single unit, regardless of physical location or switch type, as long as they are connected to the same local network. The SGS-6341 series can be connected as a ring ( HW stacking ) to provide redundancy and guarantee data integrity even in case of failure of one switch in the stack/stack. Switches can even be hot swapped without network disruption, greatly simplifying the task of upgrading a LAN to meet increasing bandwidth requirements.
