PLANET XGS-5240-24X2QR
L2+ IPv4/IPv6 switch for professional network traffic management (supports L3 routing IPv4/IPv6 and L2/L4 switching). 24x SFP+ 10GBase-SR/LR (compatible with 1000 Base-SX/LX/BX SFP), 2x QSFP+ 40G Base-SR/LR (supporting 4x 10G Base-SR/LR mode).
L3 static IPv4/IPv6 hardware static routing over VLAN, table 64 entries, DHCP server/client/relay, Hardware switching of IP packets, high level of security (SSH, SSL, SNMP v3), Flow Control IEEE 802.3x, IPv4 /IPv6 routing, DHCP, VLAN, Bandwidth Control, IEEE 802.3ad LACP/static trunk, Multicast IGMPv1/v2/v3, mirroring 802.3ad LACP, QoS (with WRR support, IEEE 802.1p CoS/ToS, IPv4/IPv6 DSCP, Port -based WRR), HW stacking + IP stacking. Web/SNMP v3 management, HTTPS, SSH/SSL, console, RADIUS and TACACS+ support, ACL filter, DHCP snooping, DoS and TCP protection, power supply AC 100-240 V or DC 36-72 V , rackmount 19"/1U, weight 4.3 kg.
Distribution backbone switch for application in the most demanding data infrastructures, has advanced network algorithms and security functions. It is intended for deployment in data centers, corporate companies or metropolitan networks. Full throughput guarantees the effective availability of a network or network resources for operations conducted or controlled through it. The switch has an advanced ACL (access control list) filter that allows traffic to be controlled based on MAC or IP address detection, TCP/UDP protocol, IP priority from traffic through the switch, authentication of physical ports can be set using the IEEE 802.1x RADIUS mechanism . In general, the transmission bandwidth can be defined for each port supporting WRR control, DSCP and CoS values can be modified, traffic can be classified based on pass-through port, VLAN, DSCP, IP preference or ACL rule. The device is managed by a WEB browser or using SNMP v3 protocol with SSH/SSL security.
IP stacking helps network administrators easily configure up to 24 switches in the same series using a single IP address instead of connecting and setting up each unit individually. IP Stacking technology combines a series of XGS-5240 switches to enable centralized management through a single unit, regardless of physical location or switch type, as long as they are connected to the same local network. The redundancy of the XGS-5240 stack ( HW stacking ) ensures that the integrity of the data is preserved even in the event of the failure of one switch in the stack/stack. Switches can even be hot swapped without network disruption, greatly simplifying the task of upgrading a LAN to meet increasing bandwidth requirements.
