The outdoor wireless IP camera with PIR sensor for motion detection offers a 1/3" CMOS sensor with a resolution of 4 Mpx, which is capable of capturing video in a resolution of 2560 × 1440 at up to 30 fps. In case of poor lighting conditions, there is IR illumination up to a distance of 15 m and white LED illumination for capturing color recordings at night. H.264 compression reduces data transfer and storage requirements. Recorded recordings can be stored on a microSD card with a capacity of up to 512 GB, or sent to cloud storage (based on a subscription). The camera includes an integrated speaker and microphone, which allows for high-quality two-way communication. Active deterrence in the form of a strobe light and a customizable sound alarm then warns potential intruders. Connecting the camera using an application on a mobile device allows for convenient remote access, recording or photos or notification in case of motion detection. Other useful features include human, vehicle and animal recognition using artificial intelligence, customizable motion detection area or compatibility with Google Assistant and Amazon Alexa voice assistants. Of course, there is a waterproof housing according to IP66. Connection can be easily made wirelessly via Wi-Fi. Power is provided by a rechargeable 10,000 mAh battery, which can also be recharged using the Tapo solar panel (not included).
