Featuring reliability and simple management, the TL-SF1024 switch provides 24 10/100 Mbit/s ports and meets the most demanding connectivity requirements of workgroups and departments.
Automatic functions ensure trouble-free installation ( Plug and Play) of this gigabit switch. It does not require any configuration. Auto MDI/MDI-X feature on all ports eliminates the need for crossover cables or outbound ports. The auto-negotiation function on each port senses the connection speed of the network device (either 10 or 100 Mbit/s) and intelligently adapts it for compatibility and optimal performance. The compact size of the case is ideal for desktop computers with limited space; the device can be conveniently and securely mounted in a rack. Dynamic LED indicators show the status in real time and provide basic error diagnosis.
The rack-mountable metal housing in conjunction with the safe certified internal power supply makes the switch the most robust solution at a very affordable price for connecting up to 24 users. Utilizing a non-blocking switching architecture, the TL-SF1024 forwards and filters packets at full cable speed to ensure maximum throughput. Using the Jumbo 10K frame, a significant speedup was achieved when transferring large files.
