TP-Link TL-SG1008P is a desktop switch equipped with eight RJ-45 ports with a speed of up to 1000 Mbit/s, which provides a problem-free connection to the network. 4 of the 8 RJ-45 ports support the power over Ethernet (PoE) function with a total output of up to 55W. These PoE ports can automatically detect and power devices compliant with the IEEE 802.3af standard. In this case, electrical energy is transmitted together with data in one cable. Thanks to this, you can extend your network beyond power lines or sockets where you want to place access points, IP cameras, IP phones, etc.
