Ubiquiti EdgeSwitch ES-5XP
EdgeSwitch ES-5XP is a 5-port Gigabit PoE switch with management from the well-known manufacturer Ubiquiti. EdgeSwitch XP impresses above all with its simple and elegant design, low price and very simple and clear configuration.
Up to 5 devices can be easily connected to the switch, which you can power via passive PoE 24 V. This reduces the number of PoE adapters needed to power your devices. The maximum PoE out power per port is 11.5 W.
EdgeSwitch XP has a sixth completely separate 10/100Mbit port for web administration access and a USB 2.0 port (inactive, intended for future use).
Switch allows you to:
- Port monitoring
- Ping watchdog
- VLAN settings
- Jumbo frames support
- Spanning Tree Protocol (STP), Rapid Spanning Tree Protocol (RSTP)
- Notification settings
Web administration is very simple and clear, including traffic statistics.
EdgeSwitch XP settings are also possible in UNMS (Ubiquiti Network Management System) software. It provides remote configuration of devices from the EdgeMAX series, an intuitive web interface, graphical reports for effective monitoring and troubleshooting.
The Switch also has ESD surge protection and can protect your network from these effects (shielded cables and proper grounding required). The Switch can also be wall-mounted.
