BlueSmart IP22 is a professional battery charger with unrivaled efficiency, low consumption and built-in Bluetooth technology, allowing you to display information from your charger to your smartphone, tablet or computer. The Blue Smart IP22 charger can also be used to charge motor vehicle and boat batteries.

Bluetooth

You can set up, display the status or configure the charger via your smartphone. You can control the charger's functions using the VictronConnect app, which can be downloaded for free from Google Play or the App Store. The default value of voltage and current is displayed on the screen. This application is not yet available for Windows mobile phones.

High efficiency

With an efficiency of up to 93%, this charger generates up to four times less heat compared to the industry standard. Once the battery is fully charged, power consumption is reduced to 0.5W (5-10x less than the industry standard).

Adaptive 6-stage charging algorithm (test - bulk - absorption - reconditioning - float - storage)

The charger is equipped with a microprocessor controlled by "adaptive" Battery management. The adaptive function automatically optimizes the charging process.

Storage mode (less maintenance and aging when the battery is not in use)

Storage mode - if the battery has not been discharged for 24 hours. In storage mode, the voltage is reduced to 2.2V per cell (13.2V for a 12V battery) to minimize gassing and corrosion of the positive plate. Once a week the voltage is increased to the absorption level to "balance" the battery. This feature prevents electrolyte layering and sulfation.

Li-ion battery charging

Li-ion batteries are charged in the bulk - absorption - float algorithm.

NIGHT and LOW mode

When setting the night or LOW mode, the output current is reduced to max. 50% of the rated power and the charger is completely silent. NIGHT mode ends automatically after 8 hours and LOW mode can be ended manually.

Protection against overheating

The output current will be reduced if the temperature rises above +50 °C to avoid damaging the charger.
