Stabilized power supply for four appliances with a circuit for charging and connecting a backup battery. Total output current 3 A. Wall box with installed PCB, cable glands, switch inside the box. Cable connection to the internal terminal block, the possibility of disconnecting the output with a jumper without the need to disconnect the wires. Short-circuit protection with a device fuse, overvoltage protection. LED diodes diagnose the status of the ports, for example, a blown fuse is recognizable at first glance. Battery circuit recharged 1 A. Battery short-circuit protection and battery protection against complete discharge. Four cable glands in the side wall sealed with rubber, one breakable in the upper part, hole diameter 19 mm, door with a simple lock.

Notes:

• Especially when implementing analog camera systems, it is advisable to ground all shielding and non-conductive parts to a common potential, which in the vast majority of cases is the protective conductor. We recommend connecting the negative pole of the DC power supply to the protective conductor of the electrical distribution system and also grounding all metal parts, shielding of coaxial cables, camera holders, etc. This is a basic measure against potential differences that deteriorate image quality. As well as basic protection against atmospheric overvoltage or dangerous touch voltages.
• The output voltage setting does not affect the voltage when operating from the battery (the power supply does not operate as a voltage converter), so pay attention to the battery power and the voltage actually provided during a power outage. For higher current consumption, we also recommend good attachment of Fastons to the battery connectors to reduce contact resistance. The main switch inside the cabinet only disconnects the 230 V power supply, not the battery power supply. For complete shutdown during installation work, also disconnect the battery connector.

Protection

• against overvoltage: by a varistor (threshold voltage 40 V)
• against battery short circuit, a defective battery will not cause a fault in the power supply system, it is automatically disconnected
• against complete battery discharge (if the battery voltage drops below approx. 11.4 V) thus preventing battery damage
