Extended tester with a detection probe for finding cable connections. Contactless detection, sound and light signaling. A filter is integrated on the probe against false tone detection from other devices. It detects the correct pinout and approximate cable length. The probe detects sound from the main transmitter unit (a simple melody). But it can also detect a live ethernet cable plugged into an ethernet switch. This way, you can tell the difference between a connected and disconnected Ethernet cable, or any other live cable.
