Yuasa REC14-12 battery 12 V (14 Ah)
Maintenance-free backup 12 V, 14 Ah lead-acid battery in VRLA (AGM) design, suitable for cyclic applications, but also for UPS, EZS, EPS backup sources, etc. It is a construction in which regulation occurs of internal pressure using valves (VRLA - valve regulated lead acid = valve-controlled lead-acid accumulators). The model range of REC traction accumulators reaches up to twice the service life of standard VRLA accumulators. Optimum lifetime is 5 years or up to 1400 cycles (25% D.O.D. = depth of discharge 25%).

Battery maintenance
The cycle life of the battery is approximately 600 cycles / 50% D.O.D. (50% D.O.D. = depth of discharge 50%) at 20°C. In order to achieve optimal battery life in cyclic operation, the maximum permitted depth of discharge of 80% D.O.D. must be respected. specified by the ČSN EN61044 standard. When storing batteries for a longer period, it is necessary to ensure their continuous charging. Capacity loss is approximately 3% per month at a storage temperature of 20°C. Operating temperature range: charging -15 to 45 °C, discharging -15 to 45 °C, storage -15 to 45 °C. Long-term exposure of batteries to temperature extremes shortens their lifespan.
