A new generation of HIGH TECH traction gel accumulators GOOWEI ENERGY series OTD-DEEP CYCLE. The battery has a long cycle life (extra strong cell grids), maximum reliability and safety in operation. These are sealed lead accumulators in VRLA design. hybrid GEL technology = the electrolyte is solidified in a hybrid gel (combination with AGM) and is thus firmly bound in the insides of the cells, thereby preventing its leakage.

The accumulator is equipped with a display that is activated for 30 seconds by pressing the button and shows you the current battery voltage and indicative information about the remaining capacity. The system also has functions that notify the battery of deep discharge and the need to recharge it. You will also be warned of abnormally high battery temperature or high charging voltage. By respecting the control functions of the system, you can significantly contribute to achieving optimal battery life. Four output ports: 1x USB (2A) and 3x universal ports S1 (1A), S2 (1A), S3 (5A) are built directly into the lid of the battery for the simplest possible way of using energy. These output ports are disconnected by the built-in regulator in case of deep battery discharge, so you don't have to worry about deep discharge of your battery.

The system is also equipped with an input port for simple connection of a solar panel (max. voltage 18 V and max. charging current 10 A) or chargers. If these values are respected, recharging takes place correctly even without the regulating element. The battery regulates the voltage itself, which we verified during testing. After the battery is fully charged, the controller limits the charging current to prevent damage from overcharging. In this way, you can easily ensure permanent charging of the accumulator and at the same time draw energy from it for your appliances. Parts of the accumulator are reduction cables for both the input port and the output ports, which will ensure very easy connection of the necessary devices.

Each GOOWEI ENERGY battery of the OTD-DEEP CYCLE series contains ampoules with diluted electrolyte with a density of 1.05 - 1.10 g/ml, which are stored in the lid of the battery and are used to extend the life of the battery. During demanding operation (frequent and deep discharge), maintenance-free accumulators also gradually lose electrolyte (distilled water partially evaporates and sulfur slowly settles in the grid plates of the cells = sulphation). The manufacturer increases the useful value of the accumulator in this innovative way. It is recommended to add this diluted electrolyte to all battery cells after approximately 100 cycles or after 18 months of operation, which will realistically extend its life by approximately 15 to 30%. Topping up the diluted electrolyte is not necessary, it is just an added value used to extend the life of the battery. This one-time step does not affect the maintenance-free nature of the battery. Ideal wherever a permanent energy source is not available, e.g. in cottages and cottages, in caravans or camper vans, on ships and houseboats or for long camping trips.

Cycle life is up to 800 cycles / 50% D.O.D. at 20-25 °C The optimal lifetime in "STAND BY" mode is 10 years (and more) at 20-25 °C To achieve optimal battery life in cyclic operation, the maximum permitted depth of discharge of 80% D.O.D. must be respected. specified by the ČSN EN61044 standard.
