Solar powered PoE switch with integrated MPPT controller offers 5x RJ-45 10/100/1000 Base-T with PoE power supply (1x PoE++ 802.3bt, 2x 802.3at, 2x 802.3 at or passive 24 V), 65 W PoE budget, DIP switch for switching modes and 1× SFP 100/1000 Base-X.
1/2 pins for PV (photovoltaic) panels + some types of generators (water or wind), pins 3/4 for DC power, pins 5/6 for battery charging/discharging. There is a DIP switch on the front to configure PoE and VLAN. The DIP switch on the back is then used to set battery type and voltage. ESD protection up to 4 kV (contact), up to 8 kV (air), temperature sensor (detection -20 to +100 °C), protection IP30 (metal housing), fanless, wall mounting or on the table, operating temperature -20 to +65 °C.
A solar PoE switch that supports the simultaneous use of solar (PV), DC and battery power. The energy obtained from the solar panel is stored in a battery with a voltage of 12 or 24 V. Then, when solar or DC power is not available, the battery is used to power the switch and connected devices.
This solution provides the possibility to power connected active devices, such as IP cameras, switches, converters or Wi-Fi units, all the time and without dependence on the power network. The application is therefore suitable for ensuring supervision in the environment of parks, forests, cottages or large agricultural and industrial areas. Thanks to the uninterrupted power supply, it can also be used as a means of building telecommunications points for local Internet providers.
