123electric BMS123SM-G3-SET
Complete solution for LFP, LTO, NMC and Li-Ion cells for battery production with Bluetooth monitoring and management via smartphone, iPad, tablet or other device.
- Compatible with LTO, works with cell voltages between 1.5-5.0V
- High precision dual range SOC current sensors to measure a wide range of currents up to 50%
- Error history to see when, in which cell and what error occurred
- SOC logging for the last week
- More accurate temperature measurement near the cell pole
- Firmware update over the air
- Easier configuration
The package includes 1× Begin module (SOPGWL0310), 1× End module (SOPGWL0417), 2× Between module (SOPGWL0298), wire for connecting cells, 2× current sensor (500 A) for independent monitoring of input and output current.
BMS123 Smart is a fully modular system. Each battery cell is equipped with one printed circuit board of small dimensions. Three types of cell circuit boards are required for installation. One Begin plate installed on the first link, one End plate installed on the last link, and a regular plate on each link between the first and last link.
For a battery pack consisting of 4 cells (12 V) you only need one Begin module, one End module and two regular cell modules.
For larger batteries (24 V, 48 V, etc.), just start with a complete set (4 cells) and simply buy an additional number of regular cell modules to be installed on the additional cells between the first and last cells. You can easily create a complete system for any number of articles!
Example of battery configuration
24 in a pack (with 8 LiFePO4 cells)
- BMS123 Smart - complete set includes 4 cells (1× First IN
- 1× Last OUT
- 2× Single CM) for the next 4 cells, just buy another 4 Single Cell (CM) modules.).
48 in a package (with 16 LiFePO4 cells)
- For another 12 cells
just buy another 12 modules with one cell (CM).).
Example configuration of 2P4S (e.g. 12 V [2× 100 Ah ]) batteries:
Again, you only need a 12V BMS kit for this installation. Two parallel links are still just one link.
BMS123 Smart App
Simple installation directly at the cell level.
BMS123 Smart is really Smart: this BMS system has no main control unit! Everything is integrated directly in the article modules. The modules of the IN and OUR cells contain all the hardware components for the basic operation of the entire BMS system. In addition, the OUT cellular module collects all relevant data and transmits it via Bluetooth 4.0 LE (low energy) to your iOS or Android tablet or phone.
Accessing your battery information has never been easier. Monitor everything remotely, including the daily production of photovoltaic cells, the daily energy consumption or, for example, the voltage of all cells on a single screen. Have a complete overview of your home energy storage on your smartphone or tablet!
Smart benefits of the BMS123 system
- A small board installed directly on the terminals of each cell
- One-wire communication, easy assembly of the accumulator
- Simple connection of the entire system designed for energy storage markets
- No additional main control unit
- No external battery is required for operation, the BMS system is powered directly from the battery
- Detailed monitoring and balancing for each cell separately
- Checking the status of all cells on one screen
- Excellent value for money: a robust and reliable system at a very favorable price
- Adjustable integrated low power bi-stable relays to disconnect charger and load at pre-defined levels
- Optional free software for iOS or Android to get an advanced monitoring dashboard
BMS123 Smart and Victron
In addition to connecting one of Victron Energy's lithium battery systems to the Multi or Quattro, it is also possible to connect a third-party system. In most installations, the battery management systems (BMS) that come with some type of lithium battery systems will need to control the charging and discharging of the batteries. Generally, they will want to stop the charging process when the maximum cell voltage rises above a certain limit, and they will also want to turn off the load that discharges the battery when the minimum cell voltage drops below its limit.
