GOOWEI ENERGY OTL35-12
Lead 12 V (35 Ah) battery in VRLA GEL design designed for deep discharge and cyclic stress. It is thus suitable for backup systems.
Traction gel accumulators of the OTL series. These are sealed lead accumulators in the VRLA design. It is a construction in which internal pressure is regulated using valves (VRLA - Valve Regulated Lead Acid = valve-controlled lead-acid accumulators). GEL technology means that the battery does not contain an electrolyte in a liquid state. The electrolyte is solidified in a hybrid gel (combination with AGM) and is thus firmly bound in the guts of the battery cells, thereby preventing its leakage. The extra strong grid of cells ensures high cyclic endurance of the battery.
The battery can also be used for applications in "standby" mode, when the batteries are permanently powered and serve as a backup source in the event of a power failure. They are especially suitable where there are frequent outages or where the batteries are deeply discharged.

Maintenance of batteries
To achieve optimal battery life with frequent cyclic operation, it is necessary to respect the maximum allowed depth of discharge of 80% D.o.D. (Depth of Discharge) specified by the ČSN EN 61044 standard. When storing batteries for a longer period, it is necessary to ensure their continuous charging. At a storage temperature of 25 °C, charge every 6 months, if the temperature is higher, charge more often. Operating temperature range: charging -20 to +50 °C, discharging -20 to +50 °C, storage -10 to +40 °C. Long-term exposure of batteries to temperature extremes shortens their lifespan.
