GWL/ELERIX GF-SUN-2000G2-T
GridFree original GWL GTIL inverter with a power of 1800 W working in the input voltage range 60-110 V (DC) with an integrated limiter to prevent overflows into the public network. The converter thanks to the integrated MPPT controller converts the maximum energy produced by the photovoltaic panels to 230 V (AC). The inverter stands out with its extremely low self-consumption of only 4.6 W!
The GridFree inverter with limiter is a revolutionary solution for network photovoltaic power plants, which works similarly to other GridFree microinverters, but can also limit its own output according to current consumption, thus completely preventing overflows into the public grid. These inverters are designed for indoor use, and in addition to the classic terminals for connecting solar panels or batteries and an output for connecting to the mains, the inverter also has an internal limiter current probe connector.
On the inverter's clear display, you can monitor:
- Current inverter output from solar panels/batteries
- Power supplied from the grid
- DC input voltage
- Inverter temperature
- Mains voltage
- Date and time
- Daily production process
- Inverter settings
There are also specific settings to power the inverter from batteries (instead of solar panels). This is the setting of the working voltage at the input (lower limit) and the maximum delivered power of the inverter.
The GridFree inverter works in the range of DC 60-110 V input and its output is 1800 W (peak 2000 W). The output from the inverter is 230 V AC voltage, which is connected between the main circuit breaker with the electricity meter and the circuit breakers of the individual circuits. The inverter therefore converts the power from the panels (or a suitable battery) into the home distribution system. Your appliances will then take the energy produced primarily from your power plant. If the output of your power plant is insufficient at a given moment, the connected public grid will cover the shortfall. By installing a current probe to the limiter, you protect your system against unwanted overflows in the event that your power plant is able to produce more power than your appliances require.
The inverter does not work in island mode, i.e. it requires a connection from the public distribution network for its function. As soon as there is a mains failure, the inverter switches off immediately. The inverters are certified for sale and use in the EU. They meet the criteria of EMC, LVD, RoHS certification. The converters comply with the EN50549-1 standard, so subsidies can be drawn on installations and connected to the distribution network together with additional protections, see the connection in the product documents. The connection thus meets the requirements of EU Directive 2016/631 (RfG NC).
A very effective and easy solution for independent electrical production. energy while maintaining the connection to the distribution network. The ideal way to reduce electricity costs. Slow down your electricity meter too! (By reducing consumption from the grid.)
The package includes a current sensor with a cable length of 3 m and a 230 V connecting cable. Download the operating instructions in the related documents below. For correct measurement of the current probe, we do not recommend extending the cable from the sensor.

Self-consumption reduction mode from the distribution network 1
The SUN inverter with the external accessories listed in the documentation meets the requirements for parallel connection to the Czech grid (RfG). The most common use is to reduce self-consumption from the distribution network by connecting an inverter anywhere between the distribution network and the point of consumption
Self-consumption reduction mode from the distribution network 2
If batteries and a limiter are used, the energy obtained from the sun can be used even when it is not shining. If the produced energy is not enough for the current consumption, the remaining part is automatically replenished from the network. Without a limiter, the system can operate in the distribution network as a production plant (photovoltaic power plant) in the mode of excess energy sales. The inverters can also be used to increase the available power in off-grid systems, e.g. in combination with Victron island inverters, in "AC coupling" mode (coupling with the AC output of the island inverter instead of the distribution network)
Three-phase system without batteries
If limiters are used, it is a system without overflows into the distribution network. Without limiters, it is a production system (photovoltaic power plant) with the possibility of selling excess electricity
AC connection with hybrid or island converter
If the inverter is independent of the AC network and is intended for AC coupling (e.g. VE Multiplus), it is possible to connect a SUN inverter with a limiter to its AC output. The output does not affect the Multiplus inverter mode itself (battery charging), but the total output power is increased. The output of the SUN inverter in the AC connection must be less than the output of the island system to which it is connected. Charging the battery via the AC path through the Multiplus (from its input or output side) is only possible after additional protection/communication elements or functions have been added and their correct settings
