PLANET VC-231GP
PoE converter for Ethernet over two-wire lines (VDSL2/ADSL2+ technology). 1× LAN RJ-45, 1× VDSL2 RJ-11, splitter for POTS connection. DIP switch settings. Optional Master/Slave. Transparent bridge. Range 1.4 km (AWG24 or better). Power supply DC 54 V/ 0.74 A (power supply included).
DSL/Ethernet bridge that enables high-speed communication over two-wire lines. Transparently converts Ethernet. The same device can be used as a master (CO) and slave (CPE). Does not prevent telephone communication, has a built-in crossover filter for the speech frequency band.
Parameters set by four DIP switches on the device: CPE/CO selection, modulation selection, symmetrical/asymmetric operation, SNR selection. It meets the ITU-T G.993.2 VDSL2 Profile 17a standards (frequency band 0.13-17.66 MHz).
With the help of an external splitter, voice service can be maintained on the telephone line without further wiring modifications. This allows the use of telephone cable lines originally intended for connections not only to subscribers but also between analog exchanges. ISPs (internet service providers) are thus enabled to offer multimedia services, VOD (video on demand), VoIP (voice over IP), Video phone, IPTV, etc. Can be installed in the MC-700/1500/1000R chassis.
This product is not compatible with the PLANET VC-201A converter.
