PLANET WGSW-24040
Administerable switch, 24x 1000Base-T, four 100Base-FX/1000Base-X miniGBIC/SFP ports shared. L3 static routing, VLAN 802.1Q 255 networks, Q-in-Q, QoS, 802.1x RADIUS, STP/RSTP/MSTP, IGMP v1/v2/v3, IP ACL, SNMP v1/v2/v3, RMON, SSL/SSH . Cabling diagnostics, ESD protection. Rackmount 19".
The Planet WGSW-24040 is a fully gigabit manageable switch working on the 2nd layer of the OSI model. It is equipped with advanced features for use in wide area networks and backbone connections. Powerful tools for QoS traffic control and security allow ISP providers and network administrators to control and effectively manage network data, which includes a switch equipped, for example, in the role of a central element.
The switch is equipped with 24x 10/100/1000Mbps gigabyte ethernet ports with 4 shared 100/1000 SFP slots. Operationally, the device is equipped with a powerful architecture with an internal bus throughput of up to 48 Gbps. Functionally it has, for example, "Port link aggregation", "Q-in-Q VLAN", "private VLAN", "Rapid Spanning Tree protocol", "Layer 2 to Layer 4 QoS", "bandwidth control", "IGMP Snooping". Up to 255 VLAN groups can be created and managed. For "trunk" connections, it is possible to create up to 12 groups of 16 ports for each group. The switch has traffic filtering based on IP addresses and other TCP/IP parameters.
The device is managed with the help of a web browser or through an SNMP utility with support for the SNMPv3 protocol, which enables encryption of transmitted data.
The shared SFP (Small Factor Pluggable) slots can be fitted with any mini-GBIC compatible with 1000Base-SX/LX and WDM SFP.
The WGSW-24040R version has an internal backup source for 48V-DC voltage in case of failure of the primary source or for backup power purposes in the event of a 230V-AC power supply failure.
