The Excellent Wi-Fi 6 (802.11ax) AP/HotSpot for all-indoor coverage is equipped with high-gain antennas that provide better coverage than previous cAP models. This 2-band access point works on both frequencies at the same time, and is thus intended for all types of phones, tablets, computers and other devices.

The unit supports both 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz frequencies in a 360° range and is suitable for covering halls or vestibules. The internal antenna has a gain of 6 and 5.5 dBi. The unit includes RouterOS v7 MikroTik software with L4 license. MikroTik cAP ax has an integrated PoE+ splitter, so it can be powered directly via an FTP/UTP cable ( PoE+ 802.3af/at). The second port can be used as a passive PoE output (up to 57 V).

Information about RouterOS MikroTik

  • All RouterBoards have the same RouterOS MikroTik system.
  • All devices with RouterOS MikroTik fully support IPv6, have firewall, Queues, NAT and with L4 license support CAPsMAN server.
  • MikroTik can be set up via the web interface, via the mobile application, or the winbox program, which can be downloaded from mikrotik.com.
  • MikroTik has "Quick Set" ie quick setting option. There are several preset profiles to choose from.
