Main differences between Cerbo GX and Cerbo GX MKII

• two fully functional CAN bus ports - VE.Can 1 and VE.Can 2 (Cerbo GX has one VE.Can port and one BMS-Can port), VE.Can 1 is isolated
• For easier handling of the cables, the RJ-45 connectors have been rotated by 180°
• All three USB ports are active and can be used for power supply (on the original version only one is active)
• Digital inputs can perform pulse counting

This innovative communication center allows you to securely manage your solar system from anywhere and maximize its performance. Easily connect via the Victron Remote Management (VRM) remote control portal or gain direct access via a separate GX Touch 50 display, multi-function display (MFD) or the VictronConnect app via Bluetooth. This new addition to the GX series connects all the best features of connectivity and brings intelligent solutions for energy systems in a whole new light.

Perfect monitoring and control

Easily monitor battery charge status, energy consumption, energy gains from photovoltaic panels, generator or distribution network. Check tank level, measured temperature, input current limits, (auto)start/stop generator(s) or optimize system performance by changing any settings. Respond to alerts, run diagnostic tests, and resolve emerging issues remotely. With the Cerbo GX, all the challenges associated with power system control are a piece of cake.

Maximize system performance

The Cerbo GX device maximizes the performance of power system components in real time and perfectly tunes the entire system. With a 2-core processor and a CAN bus port, you can now support even larger systems as well as monitor controlled (lithium) batteries, while the second port can support up to 25 VE.Can solar controllers connected at the same time. Thanks to the new NMEA 2000-out support, the GX device can be easily integrated into the network of any boat. Four tank ports, four temperature measurement ports along with 3 VE.Direct ports, 3 USB ports, 4 digital inputs and 2 relays take control options to a new level. Maximizing the performance of your entire energy system is easier than ever.

Expand your overview

The new 5" touch screen GX Touch 50 (optional accessory) allows you to have an immediate overview of your entire system and to quickly change settings as needed. Thanks to its slim waterproof design, simple mounting directly on the dashboard and easy installation, it provides great flexibility.

Simple assembly and configuration

Cerbo GX is now optimized to meet and even exceed the requirements of installation professionals. This device simply mounts on a DIN rail (using a DIN35 adapter, not included) and its standalone touch screen can be screwed directly to the dashboard, eliminating the need to cut a suitable hole (as was the case with the Color Control GX), in addition , the device is connected with only one cable, which means that you no longer need to run multiple cables to the dashboard. The new Bluetooth functionality allows quick connection and configuration via our VictronConnect app.

Master any challenge

The Cerbo GX can serve a multitude of purposes and provides perfect control for a variety of applications. For systems involving generators, such as marine engineering, or backup systems and off-grid, it will automatically start/stop the generator or delay ignition until the end of the "quiet" period. In the case of energy storage, it keeps the backup batteries charged at 100%, jumps in during power outages and diverts excess (solar) energy for self-consumption, saving you money. For rescue vehicles, it is a guarantee of flawless functioning of all important energy systems.
