Victron Energy meter VM-3P75CT
The VM-3P75CT meter is designed to measure power and energy in single-phase and three-phase energy storage systems (ESS), or to measure the power of a photovoltaic system inverter, an AC generator or a hybrid inverter. It contains integrated Ethernet and VE.Can ports for connection to GX devices, and thanks to the current sensors it enables easy and quick installation without the need to modify the existing wiring. The electricity meter is fully functional right out of the box (Plug and Play) and serves as a network meter for most systems. Performing the configuration (using VictronConnect) is only necessary when changing the role (Grid Meter, PV Inverter, AC Genset or AC Load Meter) and manually setting the IP address. The information can be viewed on GX devices such as Cerbo GX or Ekrano GX, as well as in the VictronConnect app and the VRM portal.

- To measure the power of an alternating current generator
- As an AC meter for measuring a dedicated AC load circuit
The meter provides two options for connecting to the GX device
- Wired Ethernet connection to local network via built-in Ethernet port
- VE.Can cable connection via the integrated VE.Can port directly to the GX device

Meters use a different way of calculating the total energy consumed and supplied
- For the ETXXX series, the extracted and supplied energy is calculated in each phase separately and then the sum of these values is used. It is therefore suitable for phase measurement.
- For the VM-3P75CT, EM24, EM3XX, EM5XX series, the energy taken and supplied are calculated as total power, with the net differential values from each phase canceling each other. It is therefore suitable for total measurement.
