The regulator for installation in the switchboard optimizes the adaptation of the resistance of the heating spiral of the boiler and the photovoltaic panels, so that the energy obtained from the panels is as efficient as possible. It is placed between the solar panel and the heating spiral of the boiler. The regulator can redirect the voltage from the panels to another appliance to the DC output for further use. It can also switch (via an external relay) the voltage from the AC output to the second consumer after disconnecting the first. It is also able to switch (via an external contactor) appliance power from the panels to the grid if there is not enough solar energy.
The output voltage at the output is alternating, thanks to which the controller can be used even with a regular boiler with a heating spiral for alternating voltage.
The regulator can be used wherever there is a need to maximize the energy gain from photovoltaic panels feeding electric heating elements (storage stoves, boilers, DHW tanks) in houses, apartments, recreational facilities, restaurants, schools and companies. The regulator uses pulse width modulation, which can cause a weak buzzing of the heating coil in the boiler, which could disturb the peace in the rooms where the boiler is located.
